Consequence of Health Care “Reform” – People “Game” the System?

Look at Massachusetts… theirs was a guinea pig for the current Health Care “Reform” that passed in Washington D.C.

The attached article shows how people in Massachusetts are only buying insurance when they are sick – causing loss ratios for insurance carriers to spike and of course leading to much higher premiums.

It is like auto insurance – even though it is the law, every state says 20-30% of people (maybe more with the economy) drive without Auto Insurance.

Take a look as this statistic from the article: “The percentage of individuals terminating coverage within their first year increased to 24% in 2008, from 14% in 2006.”
