You know what happens when you buy an existing home – there are the inherent surprises that you discover as you’re unpacking…
So far I have discovered that the pool sweep was configured wrong – $300
Three leaky Toilets – $380 + Installation ($265)
Leaky wall valves for Wash Machine – $100 to repair…
Burnt-Out Ceiling Fans – $550.
The home inspector found some of this stuff, and some stuff he did not find.
This is apparently common in the current home marketplace, our home purchase was not uncommon as it would have been a short-sale were it not for the situation.
