The linked article discusses the actions taken by Connecticut Insurance regulators to assist Hartford Financial Services Group in meeting there statutory reserve requirements. The bigest issue is the guaranteed living benefits riders on the companies variable annuities. I must note that Hartofrd property and casualty insurance companies are not affected by this action.
